In Spring 2025 and Spring 2026, the SCARFACE project organized a movie cineforum for students, faculty, and administrative staff at the University of Milan-Bicocca, as well as for the wider community of Milan. 

• The 2025 cineforum is part of the Bbetween path 2025 - Uomo e territorio: un legame da preservare (https://www.unimib.it/eventi/cineforum_uomo_territorio) managed by the University of Milano-Bicocca.

• The 2026 cineforum is part of the Bbetween path 2026 - Coltivare il futuro: storie rurali di impegno sociale, terra e comunità (https://www.unimib.it/eventi/coltivare-futuro) managed by the University of Milano-Bicocca.

The objective was to raise awareness of the issues of environmental sustainability in agriculture and of less intensive land use that allows for a balanced coexistence between humanity and the environment. The proposed film itineraries include international and Italian titles, aimed at a wide audience but concerned with the topic.

The film journeys were conducted in a series of five meetings at the University of Milan-Bicocca, during which movies and documentaries pertaining to the subject of agriculture and its relationship with the environment will be presented. Each movie will be introduced and presented by Dr. Adriano Ercolani, member of the Critics Choice Association (CCA). At the conclusion of each screening, the audience can participate to a Q&A session to facilitate reflection on the issues presented in the films. Q&A sessions could also involve actors, producers or directors of the films screened.
